Dominating the coveted location at the top of Rome's famed Spanish Steps, the Hotel Hassler has been in operation since the late 1800s. This fifth generation family-run hotel was completely rebuilt in 1939, requisitioned by the US Air Force during WWII, and reopened to the public in 1947. Renovations--in keeping with the hotel's old world charm--were initiated in 2007, bringing the historic Hassler up-to-date and insuring its continued legacy as one of Rome's best.
