For over 100 years, Hotel De L'Europe has been one of Amsterdam's premier properties. In 1940, Alfred Hitchcock used the hotel as a location for his film, "Foreign Correspondent." In 2011, after a 65 million euro refurbishment, Hotel De L'Europe reopened its doors, earning industry accolades and a coveted spot on Conde Naste Traveler's Reader's Choice Awards.
